While you're visiting each blog, please be sure to leave a little love for all their inspiring work as there is blog candy to be won (more details below)!

Here's my creation:

For my card today, I used the newly released JustRite ribbed set, JB-09905 3 1/4" Smile - Interlocking. I stamped one of the wide decorative borders in Memento Tuxedo Black, die cut the circle and layered on a black circle mat and a larger scalloped circle mat, then I added some stitching around. I also die cut my sentiment, added some sponging and popped it on the center.

I added some black seam binding, a Prima rose and a stick pin gifted to me for my birthday by Julee (thanks, Julee!). Finally, some stitching and silver pearls (from Pizzazz Aplenty) finish off my card.

Here's a look at the back of my card:

I used my new JustRite custom designer stamp to stamp the back of my card (my card is 5.5" x 4.25" so hopefully this gives you an idea of the size of the stamp). There are 28 designs to choose from! For more information and to create your own custom self-inking stamp, click HERE!

SCRS Challenge #44 and 365 Cards

It's time for an all new Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps Challenge! Each week we will post an all new challenge at this time (9 PM PST on Mondays). For all the details, please visit the SCRS blog. This week's challenge is the 365 Cards challenge for today - the trigger word is HATS.

Sparkle Creations is sponsoring 365 Cards all week! We hope you will join in on the fun! If you play along with them all week (May 22-28), you will have a chance to win $20 credit to the SCRS store!

I combined today's 365 Cards Challenge (to use a hat or in my case an image with a hat) with Sunday's 365 Cards Challenge (sketch). I flipped the sketch and used what looks like it could be a filmstrip as inspiration to create my sidewalk for Rollerblading Chloe and her pup. Instead of stamping the butterfly that the pup is chasing, I added a ball (it's actually a brad from Pizzazz Aplenty) for him to chase.

Here's the sketch:

Mojo 192 -- Wishing You All the Best

Hello! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! It's time for a new Mojo Monday sketch (#192).. It's always fun to see your creations.. I hope you will join us this week!

I used a few different Verve sets on my card today. First off, my main sentiment "Wishing You All the Best" is from Kind Words. I stamped "Enjoy today" from Black Tie Birdies and use the Charming Oval Die Set to cut my little tag.. To make my vellum butterfly embellishment, I clear embossed the butterfly from Chick's Rule and cut out two butterflies using the Flutterby Die. I layered them on top of each other and added some pearls from Pizzazz Aplenty.

Here's a look at the fabulous sketch, courtesy of Debbie:

If you've visited my blog before, you know that I don't really do a lot of masculine.. but this is about as masculine as it gets for me.. :) I used the TE stamp set, Boys Will Be Boys (tie and sentiments). All other supplies (patterned paper, cardstock, buttons and bracket stickers) are from the Taylored Expressions May Key Ingredients kit. If you are unfamiliar with these kits, you can learn all about them on the Key Ingredients blog, HERE.

I used Sankari's fun sketch for my layout:

JustRite Cling May Release - Family Garden

Edited to add direct links.

Hello! Welcome to Day 6 (the final day) of JustRite Stampers May stamp previews! Today we are introducing a new cling set.. CL-02145 Family Garden. This set of 13 stamps is a must-have set that celebrates the women in our lives and also has many all-occasion possibilities. I have a couple of cards to show you today...

First is a sympathy card.. I always like to have one or two on hand in my stash. I first started by stamping the whimsical vine in Memento Tuxedo Black. I stamped the a few of the lilies and clear embossed them. Next I sponged on some Memento Summer Sky to create an emboss resist effect. I also clear embossed a few of the lilies along the side of my black cardstock. I also added tiny pearls to the center of all of the embossed flowers.

"With Sympathy" is from JB-09807 Just Because Mini Sentiments (introduced on Monday). I made my sentiment into a tag by using our custom JB-8955 Nested Sentiments Die. I cut off one end of the tear drop, punched a hole and tied it to my ribbon along with a mother of pearl cross charm from Pizzazz Aplenty. Here's a detail shot:

My second card is for my daughter, Sabrina, who turns 8 this Saturday and has been recovering from having surgery on both of her toes a little over three weeks ago.. Her casts come off two weeks from today! She has been a very good patient, but she is anxious to start running around again. I made this card to cheer her up! Whenever I show her one of my cards, she says, "I LOVE it!".. :)

I created my own background with two sizes of flowers from CL-02145 Family Garden. I also used CL-02135 You are the Best, which was introduced yesterday here. I stamped the smallest medallion/flower from the set, colored and die cut it (with Spellbinders Blossom Three die 2). My pennant is also from You are the Best and "Daughter" is from Family Garden. After die cutting with Spellbinders Nested Pennants, I ran it through my Xyron and sprinkled some fine glitter on the pennant. After all, Sabrina loves sparkle!

Here's a look at the complete set, CL-02145 Family Garden:

JB-09807 Just Because Mini Sentiments:
