Hello! Welcome to Day 4 (of 6) of JustRite Stampers October release! Today we are introducing a new original set, JB-10005 Kaleidoscope Medallions - Interlocking.
I went with a classic cream and dark grey (which looks black) combination here and kept my card fairly simple. I random stamped one of the kaleidoscope centers on a sheet of patterned paper with light text, added a few layers and some stitching. My tag was stamped with a sentiment from Just Because Mini Sentiments and die cut using the custom Nested Frame Dies.
Here's a complete look at JB-10005 Kaleidoscope Medallions - Interlocking:

JustRite Original October Release -- Grandma's Doilies & Old Friends
Hello! Welcome to Day 3 (of 6) of JustRite Stampers October release! Today we are introducing two new original sets, JB-10010 Grandma's Doilies - Interlocking and JB-10015 Old Friends - Interlocking. Grandma's Doilies is full of beautiful doilies (both small and large) and coordinates beautifully with the sentiments from Old Friends.
My niece, Evie, and her hubby, JR, just celebrated their 1st wedding anniversary, so I made a card for them! This is a scrapbook page that I made and framed for them last year. Their colors were black and white/cream, so I used the same colors for their anniversary card. {and if you are reading this, Evie, I am sorry this is late... what can I say? I am horrible at actually mailing cards...}
I embossed one of the larger doily images onto vellum, die cut and added the sentiment, "Wishing You Happiness" (from Old Friends). All of this is layered onto one of my favorite paper collections ever by Karen Russell. Although she hasn't been designing lines lately, her Narratives line for awhile, this line is a classic (especially the black and cream, which is what I used here). I adore all of Karen's designs and was thrilled to see this come out in 6x6 size!

JustRite Cling October Release -- Lace Borders
Hello! Welcome to Day 2 (of 6) of JustRite Stampers October release! Today we are introducing CL-02205 Lace Borders - Cling. If you love border stamps and lacy borders, you are sure to LOVE this set!
I made a birthday card for the principal at Sabrina's school... Today is her actual birthday! Happy Birthday, Mrs. Crain!!
I started by stamping one of the lace borders on a sheet of natural white cardstock. Next, I added a sheet of pale pink vellum and stitched everything onto a black mat. I added some distressing to the card, scrunched seam binding, pearls, and of course stitching... the result is my version of shabby elegance!
Detail shot of embossed sentiment from All Occasion Nested Sentiments & Verse (on sale for $5):

QR codes are popping up everywhere and you may have wondered what they were. What is a QR (Quick Response Code)? QR codes are pixelated squares that you can scan with a smart phone app. Scannning the QR code with your phone will bring you directly to a website or landing page. The JustRite QR Codes on the packaging and in JustRites Catalog will link a stamp set to JustRite's Design Gallery for that set. Now you can scan the code with your phone to see what your favorite designers have created with a set before you purchase the set in your favorite store. You can use your smartphone to access the design gallery for your stamp set from your craft room when you are ready to use your set or from our mini flyers or catalogs when you are sitting in a car waiting to pick up your child from a sporting event!!

Mojo 208 -- Wedding Wishes
Hello! It's time for a brand new Mojo Monday sketch (#208). It's Round or Square week... I hope you will join us!
I pulled out a whole bunch of Verve sets and dies to make this scrappy card. The Gandhi quote is from Text Objects. I stamped the frame on the lower right from Making a Statement and die cut using the matching A Cut Above Rounded Scallop Frame Die. My little tag in the center of it was first stamped, using Tag Time, then die cut using A Cut Above Tiny Sweet Scallop Die Set. "Wedding Wishes" is from the retired set, Wonderful Wishes. Finally, I used the A Cut Above From the Heart dies to cut felt hearts, stitching a couple in the upper right and the smallest one onto my tiny sweet scallop tag.
Here's a look at Carole's fabulous sketches:

CR84FN39 -- Too Cute to Spook
Hello! It's time for another CR84FN Challenge! Thank you to all who joined us for the last challenge.. it was fun viewing all of your fabulous creations! For the next challenge (CR84FN39), our color palette is Orange, Yellow and Brown. This challenge will last for 2 weeks. Photo credits (from L to R): Bouquet, Wreath, Brownie Favor Pops.
With the fall color palette, I knew I wanted to make a Halloween card with one of the new Pure Innocence stamps, Little Witch (currently looks to be out of stock right now), but here is a link to all Pure Innocence stamps. I colored her, pieced her dress and fussy cut her, then I popped her on my background. It was a little darker than I wanted it to be, so I toned it down with some cream vellum. I added the fence behind her using the Die-namics Woodgrain Fence and stamped my sentiment on the Die-namics Ticket Tab.
For all the CR84FN challenge details, please be sure to visit the CR84FN blog HERE. I hope you will join us this week.. I can't wait to see what you create! For more inspiration, please visit my fellow design teammates:

MFTWSC38 -- Happy Birthday
Hello! TGIF! Today I have a card using the latest MFT Wednesday Sketch #38.
I made this for Nurse Andrea, the nurse at Sabrina's school. When I saw the sketch, I knew that I wanted to use this sweet Pure Innocence girl. This one is called PI - Best Medicine. I stamped, colored, and cut her out, then I added her over the text background. The text background, and die which I used to frame her is from the Die-namics First Class Friend and stamp set). The "Happy Birthday" sentiment is also from the same set. I added a felt rolled rose using the Die-namics Mini Rolled Roses (larger of the two).
All the details about this week's WSC Getting Sketchy #38 are in the MFT forum on Splitcoast. Here's a look at the sketch (I flipped it 90 degrees clockwise):

Blessed by Your Friendship
Hello! It's almost the weekend... yea for that! I had a little time to play with the latest My Mind's Eye blog challenge 27: card sketch. When I saw that the theme was "Friend", I knew that I wanted to pair it with the MFT set, Clearly Sentimental about Friendship. Here's what I came up with:
I pulled out one of my most favorite MME collections, Lost & Found 2 Blush. After adding some layers, I also made a dimensional die cut flower out of my scraps. The ribbon and blue rhinestone are from the older blue Lush collection and the pink rhinestones are from the pink Lush collection. My sentiment is stamped on a die cut banner tag and popped up for dimension.
For all the challenge details, click here. Here's a look Anam's fun sketch:

Taylored Expressions September Blast from the Past Blog Hop!!
Hello! I'm excited to be participating in the August Taylored Expressions Blast from the Past Blog Hop! Each month, Taylor invites her customers to participate in this fun hop and feature Taylored Expressions Stamps! The theme for our hop is Birthday / Birth Day. It's a double theme this month. Since Taylor just gave birth to a baby girl, I made a card for her!
If you happened here by chance, please check the full list of participants at the bottom of this post!
I stamped Cuppie with her sweet baby girl from Baby Cakes, colored the image with Copic markers and pieced the baby sling. The sentiment, "precious little one" is from the same set. I also added part of a banner (die cut with the Pennant Border Die) and stamped "girl" using You're My Type - Lower & #.
I used Sankari's fun sketch for my layout:

Taylored Expressions September Key Ingredients Blog Hop!!
If you are looking for my Sparkle Creations challenge post, please scroll down or click HERE. Thanks!
Hello! Welcome to the September Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients Blog Hop! Today, we are showcasing the September Key Ingredients! Each month, the team shows you 6 days of projects on the Key Ingredients blog to get your creative juices flowing. In case you missed any of this, please be sure to check out the Key Ingredients blog HERE. This month's kit features patterned paper from the October Afternoon Campfire collection, coordinating cardstock, ribbon, buttons and Buttercup Liquid Pearls.
I have two projects to show you today. The first is a 11" x 8.5" scrapbook layout. As much as I love to make cards, my true love of paper crafting roots lies within scrapbooking and preserving family memories.
{click to enlarge}
The colors in the kit were perfect for a scrapbook page to show some photos from a day trip that we took to Sedona last year. I used Celebrate Life, which is full of whimsical images and sweet sentiments that I compliment the rich fall colors in the patterned paper and cardstock included in the kit. The letter stickers are left over from the May Key Ingredients. They were originally white, so I sprayed them with Glimmer Mist to match my colors. Here's a detail shot of my sentiment panel. I added some stitching and Liquid Pearls around the scalloped circle, then popped it on my layout.
My next project is a card using the same stamp set and more of the patterned paper included in the kit.
I clear embossed a couple of the leaves onto my striped patterned paper. Here's a detail shot:
Please be sure to check out the other Key Ingredients designers for some wonderful inspiration! Here's the complete hop list:

SCRSC61 -- My Girl
It's time for an all new Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps Challenge! Each week we will post an all new challenge at this time (9 PM PST on Mondays). For all the details, please visit the SCRS blog. This week's challenge is to draw inspiration from a favorite song!
I decided to make a simple scrapbook page using the song, "My Girl" as my inspiration. I stamped Cheerleading Emily on my layout. She reminds me of my Sabrina, in this pose. Sabrina likes to come into the room (usually with multiple hats on her head and feet or something else silly like that) and shout, "Look at me!".
This is a photo I took of Sabrina while we were on a neighborhood walk over the weekend. She is still sniffling from a cold, so it was just a short walk. Believe it or not, it's still summer here and even though it was {barely} under 100, it was still too hot for me. Is it fall where you are? If so, could you send a little cooler whether our way, pretty please?
We are sponsoring Card Patterns this week. My layout uses a portion of the sketch on it. For more details and a chance to win Turntable Josh and Cupcake Ruby, please see the Card Patterns blog.
For more SCRS inspiration and details, please visit the SCRS blog to see the design team's wonderful creations and their individual blogs for more details:

Mojo 207 -- Happy Birthday to U
Hello! After a 2 week break, it's time for a brand new Mojo Monday sketch (#207).. I hope you will join us this week!
I had a lot of fun with this sketch. I just love those tilted panels! This is another teacher birthday card as there are many September birthdays coming up. I stamped "happy birthday" from Hope Blooms and "to" from the Joy Plain Jane. The "U" is die cut from felt using the A Cut Above I Heart U Die Set. I also added a felt flower die cut using the A Cut Above Loopy Blooms Die Set.
Here's a look at Julee's fabulous sketch:
I had a lot of fun with this sketch. I just love those tilted panels! This is another teacher birthday card as there are many September birthdays coming up. I stamped "happy birthday" from Hope Blooms and "to" from the Joy Plain Jane. The "U" is die cut from felt using the A Cut Above I Heart U Die Set. I also added a felt flower die cut using the A Cut Above Loopy Blooms Die Set.

CR84FN38 Week 2 -- Have a Tweet Birthday
Hello! It's week 2 for the current CR84FN Challenge! If you haven't played along yet, you have just under a week to play in CR84FN38. Our color palette is Bright Pink, Black and Gray. The lovely photos in the graphic above are courtesy of Leslie at A Creative Mint.
My birdhouse, roof and heart are all cut from the Die-namics Homespun Birdhouse (the house and heart are felt). I've only used a few of the pieces included in this set, and I can't wait to use more! I stitched the heart on to the house and popped it all up with foam tape. The sentiment is from the matching stamp set and stamped on a banner tag from the Die-namics First Place Award Ribbon.
For sketch inspiration, I used this week's My Favorite Things WSC Getting Sketchy #37 from My Favorite Things. All the challenge details can be found HERE:
For all the CR84FN challenge details, please be sure to visit the CR84FN blog HERE. I hope you will join us this week.. I can't wait to see what you create! For more inspiration, please visit my fellow design teammates who have another project to share:

TE September Key Ingredients
Hello! Have you seen the Taylored Expressions September Key Ingredients kit? I have this month off from posting on the KI blog, but my fellow design teammates have been posting some wonderful projects that are sure to inspire you. You can check it all out on the KI blog, HERE.
I have been playing with this kit myself and have a birthday card to show you today.
I have been playing with this kit myself and have a birthday card to show you today.
The patterned papers in the kit are from the October Afternoon Campfire collection. They felt a little "western" to me, so I decided to pair them with one of the sweet Moka girls, Moka Jane. I colored her with Copic markers and fussy cut her, then popped her on top of one of my layers. All supplies (patterned paper, cardstock, buttons, ribbon and Buttercup Liquid Pearls) are all included in this month's kit. I've only used a tiny bit of the kit on this card here, so I will be back with more to show you next week!

Please welcome our guest designer for the next 2 challenges, Marie Oberg!
I just received a package from My Favorite Things, so I got busy using some of my new goodies. My main sentiment panel is from the newest sentiment set, Clearly Sentimental about Family, which is the Triple Scoop promo of the month (this means you can earn it for free before it is available for purchase). See that cool, layered flower?! I made it using the Die-namics Prima Donna Petals! Very fun and easy to make! Here's a detail shot (I added a Prima crystal to the center of it):
For sketch inspiration, I used this week's My Favorite Things WSC Getting Sketchy #36 from My Favorite Things. All the challenge details can be found HERE:
