Taylored Expressions May Sneak Peeks: Going to the Chapel + Mr. & Mrs.

Hello! Welcome to the Taylored Expressions May Sneak Peek Day Two! We are releasing 5 new stamp sets, 6 new dies and a 2 new cutting plates... I know you are going to love it all!

I have two projects to show you today. The first one uses a new mini set, Going to the Chapel (includes three coordinating dies). This one just makes me want to sing, "Going to the chapel and we're gonna get married..."!

It's hard to tell from the photo, but when I framed my chapel scene to make it look like a picture frame. I cut out a mat, then I trimmed it to have a 3/8" border, added some dots embossing and added stitching inside the "frame". I also wanted to make it look like a blimp had flown by with the "Congratulations" banner that was just captured in the photo. The banner is from In the Clouds and die cut with the coordinating Blimps and Banners die. I used the Cloud Border Die to create my hill and when I sponged my clouds.

I stamped, colored and used the coordinating dies to cut out the chapel, bride and groom. Here's a detail shot:

My second project uses the Mr. & Mrs. Cutting Plate. I kept this one very simple since the plate is so pretty and ornate on its own. I die cut it in Choice Snow White and matted it on the same, then I stitched them together and added a few pearls to the centers of the larger flowers.
